Poesy & Thoughts On A Sunday Afternoon

"We have passed the great Trauma.
These wounds disclose our loss." From Mina Loy's Persephone

--------------------------------------------------------------------

The woman is in a dream.
The woman runs to the mirror.
She looks into the mirror.
The woman runs to the window,
Her hands a sun prayer on the glass of darkness.
"I know you are! I know WHO you are!"
But there is no one there.

------------------------------------------------------------------

The sea is sonic
And foam does feedback.

Let's dance put on your red shoes and dance the blues

Let's dance to the song
they're playin' on the radio

Let's sway
while color lights up your face
Let's sway
sway through the crowd to an empty space

If you say run, I'll run with you
If you say hide, we'll hide
Because my love for you
Would break my heart in two
If you should fall
Into my arms
And tremble like a flower

Let's dance for fear
your grace should fall
Let's dance for fear tonight is all

Let's sway you could look into my eyes
Let's sway under the moonlight,
this serious moonlight

If you say run, I'll run with you
If you say hide, we'll hide
Because my love for you
Would break my heart in two
If you should fall
Into my arms
And tremble like a flower

Let's dance put on your red shoes
and dance the blues

Let's dance to the song
they're playin' on the radio

Let's sway you could look into my eyes
Let's sway under the moonlight,
this serious moonlight

What Inspires You?

He asked, what inspires me? well, how long do you have?  laughing again

the poetry of a moment
the olden days
the way my memory works
beautiful clothes
landscapes at night time
trees
rivers and valleys
cats
hands
lips
danger
ghosts
other worlds
gloves being slowly turned down on a woman's wrist
children's stories
animals that talk and are your friends
old circus stuff
the mugginess of the south
romance and a longing for what used to be
the absurd
dreams
1950's juvenile deliquents (uh that spelling is uh i dunno)
Munch's wood prints
Cy Twombly
Jan Toorop and Gustav Klimt  women
England's dreaming
ancient egypt
the eleusian mysteries
witches and seerers and alchemist
mexico and all of latin america´s spirits and magic
marcel duchamp always and forever
those southern writers faulkner, reynolds price, shelby foote and eudora welty
captain beefheart
paul and jane bowles
bob dylan bob dylan bob dylan
john
carmen
nina hagen
yoko ono´s art
makeup gone mad
cities that speak to you
people who own their pain and without self pity
certain kinds of love
birds
the sea
a man called Mingus!
life and death
kissing
and always and forever the music
and on and on and on and on
and
you!
